Shock as Former IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati Declared Clinically Dead

Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman, Wafula Chebukati, has been declared clinically dead at a top hospital where he has been receiving treatment since last year.

Medical experts describe clinical death as a condition where a patient’s heart has stopped beating, and they are no longer breathing. Reports indicate that most of Chebukati’s vital organs have ceased functioning, leaving doctors with little hope of recovery.

His family has now been given the difficult task of deciding whether to turn off the life-support machines keeping him alive.

Chebukati’s health reportedly took a turn for the worse after undergoing head surgery in Germany. He was hospitalized there for three months, and since returning to Kenya, his condition has steadily declined.

Sources close to the family reveal that his children have already divided his wealth among themselves. His eldest daughter, a lawyer, is said to have taken ownership of the family’s Nairobi residence, while his second-born son was given the Kitale home. His youngest son reportedly inherited a luxurious property in Nyali.

It is believed that the family made these arrangements during a vacation in Diani last year.

As the nation watches closely, all eyes are now on the family’s next decision regarding Chebukati’s medical situation.
