A Nairobi sitting court seeks to apprehend Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi over a case of extortion.
The court informs that the governor has been a no-show in court many a times hindering the progress of the case that involves other four individuals.
The four namely George Ngugi, Abdul Aziz Alim, Moses Musee Maluki, and Noah Akala Aduwo are reported to have attempted to extort the governor kes 30 million but all their attempts gave in to futility.
The court now wants Kingi and the witnesses in the case held.
The court has directed the governor with the four men to be presented before it not later than Thursday, October 22, for further direction.
The aforementioned four are traders in Mombasa and are being accused of trying to obtain kes 30 million from Governor Kingi behind the guise of EACC sleuths.
The offense, reports say, was executed at the Gracia Hotel in Kilimani in June 2018.
