President Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake partner Raila Odinga today attempted the Jerusalema dance challenge. The two leaders danced to the hit song while in Kisumu county on a Nyanza development tour. The two leaders took the platform to have fun before they drummed up support for the unveiled BBI report. President Uhuru asked Kisumu residents to back the document that enjoys the backing of himself and the ODM party leader.
The Jerusalema challenge has been a worldwide sensation that has been tried by several notable figures and employees of big companies.
The Kenyan National Assembly members also danced to the hit song amid a myriad of criticisms. The Jerusalema sensation was also attempted by Mombasa county staff led by their governor Ali Hassan Joho. Nairobi governor Mike Sonko also led the city-county staff in the dance challenge.
Sonko’s challenge was quite dramatic after he inspected a guard of honour like a State president. The county boss was clad in County askari regalia and held a sword as though he was a Commander in Chief of Armed forces.
