Suba member of parliament John Mbadi has showered the outgoing ml in parliament, Hon. Aden Duale, with praises, thanks to his aptness in delivering in the seat.
Duale up to yesterday had served in the position for the past seven years, him being the first occupant of the office since the promulgation of the 2010 constitution.
He was replaced by Amos Kimunya, the MP for Kipipiri who had more than 120 Jubilee legislators presenting their signatures in favor of his ascension to the post. The changes were overseen by President Kenyatta who convened a PG at the KICC on the Monday of June 22.
The purge (which began from the senate) is perceived as a disciplinary targeted to the members of the Jubilee party who in the recent past have been dissenting from the political ideologies vouched for by the party’s leadership. The ones affected happen to be close cronies to DP Ruto, who has been in an apparent fallout with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In his address, Hon. Mbadi thanked and feted Duale for outdoing himself in the position and serving to his best given the volatile environment that has been in regard to the fierce Kenyan way of politicking.
Mbadi cherished the honesty with which Duale served, adding he would be ready to be consulted irrespective of his political extremism.
On his part, Duale vouched for his output for the period he had been in the position. He as well thanked every player that was on board during his tenure.
“The results are out there and they speak for themselves. I will hence not belabor to layout the same. I was not removed for inefficiency or lack of delivery but simply the cycle of all the career of politicians,” he said.
