Facebook-owned WhatsApp may not allow users with gadgets bearing iOS and Windows Operating systems to enjoy the WhatsApp platform.
Windows phone had stopped to accommodate WhatsApp while updating its features. That made WhatsApp stop providing the platform to the Windows Phone users.
WhatsApp will also stop access to the platform by users utilizing old Apple and android models. Android with 2.3.7 and older versions, together with iOS8 will be barred from the widely used social platform.
The App will only work with android versions 4.0.3 or higher, and iOS model 9 and upwards. The barred users will however be able to access WhatsApp by logging into its webpage through the devices’ browsers.

It is however noted that Apple only has 7% of its devices running with iOS model 9 or older than that. iOS 12 is believed to be the oldest, having been launched in 2018.
Gadgets with version 2.3.7 and iOS 7 will have WhatsApp redundant with them by the end of January 2020.
Facebook says it is after the initiative to enhance a better experience of WhatsApp among its users around the globe.
