After a long period of being off-air, Joyce Gituro is soon rocking the airwaves after securing an opportunity with Radio Africa’s Radio Jambo.
The seasoned presenter broke the news of her new assignment on Facebook where she informed her fans of where and when her show will be getting airborne.
“Some birthday gifts are straight from God! See you on 7th June God willing,” she said in relation to her new role at Radio Jambo.
As borne in the above poster, Joyce will be hosting Injili Jumapili, a gospel show that will be embracing the airwaves every Sunday from 5 to 10 o’clock in the morning.
Prior to her assignment at Lions Place (along Waiyaki Way), Joyce had for more than a decade worked with Royal Media Services as a presenter before ascending to the position of Citizen’s head of radio. She later joined Milele FM in 2018.
Her stint at DSM Place was however shortlived after falling out with the bosses at the station. She was part of the dream team that joined Mediamax in 2018 alongside Alex Mwakideu, Jalas, Francis Luchivya, Kaka Zema, and Wilbroda among others.
She substitutes Eudias Kigai who has been with the station for long now.
