Senator Millicent Omanga Leads By Example In Marking the ‘No Bra Day’ – (Photos)

Tuesday, October 13 had the world commemorating the day when no woman donned a bra in a bid to foster the breast cancer awareness.

The day was first observed in 2011 and has since been the case nine years later, observance being the world over.

The sole object is always to encourage women and men to spot early warning signs and get an edge in the fight against the ailment.

One takes part by mastering the art of performing a self-breast examination, participating on social media along with the #NoBraDay hashtag, and thereafter buying a new bra.

Jubilee nominated senator Milicent Omanga joined the trail, posting her challenge on her Facebook page inviting a frenzy quite wild from her followers who had expected more than what she offered.

“Today is NO BRA DAY, leading by example, I want to encourage my fellow ladies to forgo wearing a bra to encourage Breast cancer awareness and show support to survivors,” she captioned her photos.
