Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja says that he is ready to vie of Nairobi County’s gubernatorial seat should circumstances force current Governor Mike Sonko out of office.
He made this statement on K24 on Sunday night citing that many Nairobians would want to see the city resuming its normal services.

His interest for the seat after Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was recently over graft claims that saw him being barred from accessing his office.
Nairobi County Assembly Members have also been seeking to hold a special meeting that would discuss the leadership crisis of the county.
Sakaja has also called out Governor Sonko for leading the county as a one-man show and not recognizing other key stakeholders.
