Sailors Accuse Mwalimu Rachael Of Demanding Ksh 1.5M Before Surrendering Passwords To Their YouTube Channel

Kenyan gengetone artists Sailors Gang, have accused their ex manager cum Radio Presenter Mwalimu Rachael of withholding their YouTube account password. The Wamlambez hitmakers have opened a new YouTube account after Rachael denied them acces to their previous account.

The NRG Radio presenter has been the group’s manager for close to two years now and controlled their social media accounts. She has allegedly demanded for Ksh 1.5 Million before surrendering the passwords.

The group’s lead vocalist, Miracle Baby, spilled the beans while on an interview with Word Is. He claims that all their frantic efforts to access their YouTube channel have been futile since the manager still holds its key details.

“We respect her, we’ve come from far, but we didn’t expect this to turn out the way it did,” Miracle Baby said.

“We have opened new YouTube channels and we are now signed under Black Market Records. If you book a gig with her (Mwalimu Rachel), you will have been conned).”

In a conversation with the Nairobi Gossip Club, one of the group members narrates how the NRG Radio presenter has held their account hostage. He claims that it is unfair for their ex manager to deny them access to an account they have worked so hard to build.
