Jamaican Dancehall artist Buju Banton finally landed in the country in style on Thursday with NRG Radio ushering him with cars worth more than Ksh 100 million.
His much-anticipated show will be held at the Kenya International Convention Centre (KICC) grounds on Saturday. Buju Banton was scheduled to perform a week ago but was rescheduled to allow Kenyans to go for the public viewing of the body of the late Mzee Moi.
His arrival at JKIA airport saw NRG Radio pulling out the flashiest cars to grace Kenyan roads. A video posted by NRG on their Instagram page shows the entourage of cars that were waiting for him to escort him to his hotel.
The cars included:
- Bentley Bentega – Ksh 30 Million*
- BMW i8 – Ksh 32 Million*
- Mercedez Benz S-Class S350 – Ksh 14 Million*
- Range Rover Autobiography – Ksh 17 Million*
- 2 Jeep Wranglers – Ksh 14 Million (7M each)*

This will be the Jamaican’s first show in Africa after he was released from prison in 2018. He has expressed his excitement to perform in the country.

Media Personality Njambi Koikai will be the official emcee for the event with an array of reggae stars lining up to curtain raise for Buju Banton. These include DJ Kriss Darlin, DJ Moh, and MC Teargas.
