New development in missing Kitengela quartet

The family of Jack Ochieng, one of the Kitengela friends whose body was believed to be found in Murang’a County on Thursday, April 29, has spoken on the gruesome murder incident.

According to news sources, Ochieng’s brother Cliff Ochieng said that the man, who was initially believed to be Jack, was not.

“We came to Murang’a to identify him but the body that we saw is not my brother’s. The body is still fresh and I can say for a fact that he is not my brother

“His ear is not the same, his teeth, hairstyle are different and the clothes he was wearing are not his,” Ochieng said.

Ochieng noted that his brother was in the tours and travel business until 2020 when the Country was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and he was laid off.

“When he stopped working, he engaged in a number of businesses including car hires where he was well connected. He would take vehicles from firms and hire them out especially because he had a wide network,” he added.

He added that his brother was a favourite of many people and was always in the company of friends.

“I have never met any of the other friends that are said to have been in his company when he disappeared,” he concluded.
