A section of Kenyans is convinced Musalia Mudavadi is the best fit to succeed president Uhuru Kenyata after the end of his term in 2022.
The ANC leader has in the recent past been in a series of meetings with political partners from across the country his followers believing he is strategizing ahead of the 2022 presidential vote.
Those vouching for his presidency say Musalia’s composure, and his low-key approach to leadership is what the country needs, his restrained kind of politicking making him stand out among the rest of the seasoned players in the country’s politics game.
His determination to strengthen the ANC party albeit the sprouting of political alliances in the country is also thought to be a move by the leader, aiming at taking on the perceived giants come 2022.
The leader has also recently been weighing in into matters of great national importance without fear or favor issuing his stances, calling out those he feels are becoming a nuisance as the country struggles to forge amid several challenges including the Covid-19 pandemic.
On Sunday, Musalia faulted the ODM party leadership and COTU SG Francis Atwoli for the woes that befell Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula particularly his removal as the Ford Kenya party leader.
“My attention has been drawn to the TRAGIC MISCHIEF taking place in FORD KENYA Party. On my own behalf and on behalf of the entire fraternity of AMANI NATIONAL CONGRESS, I wish to assure Senator Moses Masika Wetang’ula that we solidly stand with him,” part of Mudavadi’s statement on Wetangula’s removal.
With #Mudavadi4Kenya banner, his fanatics believe Kenya will be safe with him as the president thanks to his calm but firm kind of leadership:
