KDF Officer Killed in Bar Brawl in Kipkelion West

 

A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer was fatally injured during a bar fight in Mataragon, Kipkelion West, Kericho County, police have confirmed.

 

Kericho County Police Commander James Ngetich stated that the incident occurred on the night of Saturday, February 24, following a heated altercation between the officer and other patrons.

Reports indicate that the confrontation escalated into a physical fight, leading to the officer sustaining fatal injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

 

Police have launched investigations into the incident, with authorities pursuing those involved in the deadly brawl.
