The body of a journalist attached to Mediamax was on Sunday found in a bush after a few days of going missing.
Identified as George Koori, the deceased was a correspondent working with K24 and was based in Molo Sub-County, Nakuru county.
The journalist had been in misery sources intimating he had mentioned about grappling with ‘maisha ngumu’ getting overwhelmed with depression which family members say they tried dealing with by seeking him a psychiatric doctor.
His parents launched a search after he could not be traced only to be found dead on Sunday, May 24.
Locals who discovered the body point at suicide as the cause of the death as police begin their investigations.
The body was found in the bush near their Gatura Farm home in Elburgone, Nakuru County.
The chief in charge of the area Mr. Simon Kinuthia confirmed the incident.
“The body was found hanging from a tree in a thicket on his parent’s farm,” the chief said.
The body currently lies at the Elburgon Sub-County Hospital Mortuary in Nakuru county.
