Junet Mohammed: DP Ruto Will Not Be President in 2022

Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohammed has said that Deputy President William Ruto will not be elected as president in 2022.

He was speaking during an interview on Jeff Koinange Live where he said he stood no chance with or without the handshake. He added that the deputy president had developed a false sense of popularity because he goes to a few churches across the country.

Whether there is a handshake or no handshake, William Ruto has zero chances of becoming the president of Kenya…

… Those churches are not the whole country, for example I come from Migori and I can tell you for free that no one talks about Ruto in Migori

Junet then asked Ruto to resign saying it didn’t make sense for him to continue being in government that he accuses of trying to assassinate him. He referred to the statement Ruto made while attending the funeral service of Kipyegon Kenei. He also took a swipe at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) saying that it had been turned into a political machine which was waging war against his office.

He (William Ruto) should resign… He cannot be the deputy president in a government that he claims wants to assassinate him, I do not think there is anybody who wants to harm the Deputy President, the Deputy President is running away from his shadow

Junet Mohammed

I want to tell them that if they killed this young man to intimidate me, I am not afraid, I will not back down, pengine waniue mimi
