Junet Mohamed Accuses Tanga Tanga of Discussing Uhuru’s Impeachment

Suna East Member of Parliament has accused Tanga Tanga politicians who met in Naivasha on Monday for discussing the impeachment of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The MP was addressing the press on Tuesday afternoon alongside other legislators and claimed that the meeting had other agendas other than those of the Building Bridges Initiative. He also said that they were discussing how they would impeach President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Junet said that they were collecting signatures which would be used to impeach the president and dared them to bring the motion to parliament.

And one of the agendas they discussed in Naivasha other than the BBI was the impeachment of the president. We are ready for them. Let them bring it to parliament. We are aware they were collecting signatures to bring into the house to impeach Uhuru. They are too small and lack numbers

Junet Mohamed

The leaders, who were led by Junet, criticized the politicians allied to DP Ruto for planning to hold parallel BBI rallies. They have warned the Tanga Tanga politicians not to attend the officially recognized meetings should they plan to have their own meetings.

Minority Leader John Mbadi criticized them for disrespecting the appointments made by the President for planning the BBI rallies across the country. He also added that the Deputy President is not known to support good governance in the country and does not know anything with regards to the distribution of public funds.

Tetu MP Kanini echoed Mbadi’s sentiments by saying that the Tanga Tanga politicians had no right to take it upon themselves to make budget allocations. He added that they never supported the BBI from the beginning.

Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga dismissed the attendance of the politicians who met in Naivasha who claimed to be more 176 MPs.

I want to challenge them to publish all the names of the 176 members they claim were in attendance. There were barely less than 100 members present. There were only 76 members present. They should stop from confusing Kenyans by creating a notion that they have more members in their camp
