GSU Officer Dies After Jumping Off Balcony While Fleeing Unknown Assailants in Juja

In a tragic incident in Juja, Kiambu County, a General Service Unit (GSU) officer died after jumping off a balcony in the Gwa Kairu area. The officer was reportedly being pursued by unknown assailants at the time of the incident. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death to identify the individuals involved and determine the motive behind the attack.

 

This event adds to a series of recent incidents involving GSU officers. In January 2024, a GSU officer was arrested following the death of a woman who allegedly jumped from a balcony in Lang’ata . Additionally, in March 2024, another GSU officer died after jumping out of a taxi along Thika Super Highway . These incidents have raised concerns about the safety and well-being of law enforcement officers in the region.
