Go for money love will follow, Akothee advises daughter – VIDEO

Musician Esther Akoth, alias Akothee elicited mixed reactions after advising her daughter, Rue Baby to date for money and not love.

Sharing a moment with Rue Baby on her birthday, the singer insisted that it’s better to cry in Dubai than in a filthy village.

“My daughter, when you go for money, love will come, when you go for love, money will never come

“You better cry in Dubai than cry in Kanyamkago. Go for money my dear,” she told her daughter.

As earlier reported by breakingnews.co.ke, Akothee has hit out at critics questioning her real age.

Moments after revealing she turned 40 years old, a section of her fans claimed she was more than the aforesaid age, triggering her to fire back.

In her response, Akothee said she does not care about the age netizens gave her, instead urging them to argue with their net worth.

“There is someone busy arguing with my age. My friend use your bundles wisely or argue with your net worth my friend it’s hard everywhere… give me that age that makes you feel better, 92 is also okay,” wrote Akothee.
