Edgar Obare Goes Missing After Arrest in Kiambu Court

Popular blogger Edgar Obare has allegedly gone missing after he was arrested at the Kiambu Law Courts. The news of his arrest was broken online by fellow blogger Xtian Dela.

Obare is reported to have presented himself at the court for the mention of a case against Youtuber Natalie Tewa. Dela claims that Obare was then seized and transferred to an unknown location. His phone is also reported to have been confiscated.

Edgar’s lawyer and family members do not know where he has been taken and the reason of his arrest. The judge in charge of the blogger’s case against Natalie Tewa, has pushed the case to the 10th of November since the accused was not present in court.

The DCI officers incharge of Obare’s case have also denied responsibility of his arrest and disappearance. The Investigative officers have stated that they are not aware of his whereabouts and that they do not know who arrested him.

Natalie Tewa had filed a case in August against the blogger, popularly known as teamaster, for revealing her private information. Edgar was then arrested and arraigned in court.

The blogger had tried to link Natalie Tewa’s Dubai trip to Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho. The ODM governor was also in Dubai alongside Junet Mohammed. The two had left the country to visit Raila Odinga who was receiving treatment in the Middle East country.
