Deputy President William Ruto yesterday held a campaign rally at a school in Embakasi West to the surprise of many. His major audience were school children who kept cheering at his political mentions.
Ruto was touring BuruBuru Primary School where he opened a block(Angels block) that is meant to serve children with special needs. The Deputy was in the company of Embakasi West legislator George Theuri among other Nairobi politicians.
The Jubilee Party deputy leader could not shy away from the BBI debate. He was incessant that nobody from his camp was opposed to the report. The President’s deputy could however not hide his displeasure to the manner in which the BBI rallies in Kisii and Kakamega had been conducted.
Tanga Tanga MPs allied to the Deputy President have vowed to attend the next BBI rally scheduled for Mombasa. In a statement to journalists, Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen averred that they will be part and parcel of the Raila led rallies.
