Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo has taken up a fresh challenge while on lockdown due to the global outbreak of coronavirus.
Ronaldo, who has been engaging in grueling workouts alongside his family is now spending his time studying.
The 35-year-old took to his social media to reveal he is back on his books, urging his fans to ‘always challenge’ themselves.
“Always challenge yourself, for me, it’s time for me to study,” the Portuguese wrote.
The new engagement generated reactions from his millions of followers, with many congratulating him.
But one joked: “You want to get PhD for football?”
A second probed: “What you studying mate?”
While another agreed: “It’s time to learn new things.”
With football currently suspended, the former Real Madrid star has been keeping his fans abreast with the happenings around him.
He and his family are spending the coronavirus lockdown back home in Portugal and recently moved to a £3,500-a-week rented apartment in Madeira.
Like many, the Juventus talisman is taking advantage of the lockdown to spend quality time with his family.
