Embu and Kilifi counties will be subjected to a blackout for the better part of the Monday of June 22.
This will be in order to pave way for maintenance slated to be carried by the Kenya power technicians. Taking to its social media handles, KPLC has put forward its apology owing to the imminent inconveniences to the locals of the respective areas.
However, the blackout will only be experienced in a few areas in the named counties.
In Kilifi, the to-be affected areas include Jaribu Trading Center, Pwani University, Jaribunui Quarries, China Communication, China Wuyi, and SS Metta among others.
For Embu, the areas are Kathangari Market, Kathakwa Secondary School, Nguviu Mission, Sunmoon Hotel, Kangethia Market, and Kibugu Market among other processing plants.
