Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has nominated Ann Kananu Mwenda for the vacant Deputy Governor seat in the county.
He nominated Ann in a letter addressed to Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi. The Director of Public Prosecutions has, however, cited Sonko’s nomination as null and void as he is in violation of the bail terms that saw him being locked away from his office.
