19 people have been confirmed dead with 172 others injured from a gas accident in southeast China on Saturday afternoon.
The tanker carrying liquefied petroleum gas exploded at a highway exit in Taizhou, Zhejiang province. According to state-run People’s Daily, the blast sent flames and a cloud of smoke high into the sky.
A second blast took place when the blown up truck fell onto a workshop near the expressway. The cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
